What is CBD and hemp oil (hemp seed oil)?

Hemp oil is not the same as cannabis oil or cannabidiol / CBD oil.

CBD is extracted from hemp, i.e. industrial hemp species high in CBD, and this raw, highly concentrated CBD is then mixed with hemp seed oil in order to make it suitable for commercial use (in various concentrations).

Does CBD oil show up in drug tests?

Theoretically, CBD should not show up in drug tests, since these tests are not made to detect it. The controlled substance detected by drug tests and doping tests is THC, which is a psychoactive substance contained in Cannabis.
