Christmas color trends, decorations
With the arrival of December, clients start getting into the Christmas spirit, not just through Christmas markets, scented candles and cookies, but also through their nails. What are this year's trends and favorites? Let's see!
MAGNETIC SPARKLE, PLAYING WITH LIGHTS
This year, magnetic gel polishes are making a strong comeback, offering various possibilities from using them on light or dark bases to how you magnetize them. Alongside magnetic patterns (which can be effortlessly created with the 9D cat eye magnet), fully flashing magnetization of the surface is also very fashionable. When you move the nails, the magnetized particles are sparkling. Lighter color combinations (like Cat Eye Gel Polish 8ml - Too Late C033 - Aurora Cat Eye or C034 Millionaire), blended as glitter ombre with milky white gel (like Milky White Soft Gel) or nude shades (like Cool Protein Nude Gel), create a truly magical, festive effect.
REFLECTIVE EFFECT, DEEP TONES
The reflective effect has been popular for a while, especially when paired with dark winter colors. Dark base magnetic colors are an excellent choice, where magnetizing a pattern onto the nail, choosing from Flash Cat eye colors, immediately produces a pattern in multiple colors. Adding a few white nail art can create a beautiful effect, which can be enhanced with a matte topcoat.
FESTIVE COLORS, CLASSICS REIMAGINED
Fans of classic colors will be excited about the Xmas LAQ X set. Besides featuring beautiful red, purple, blue, pink and black colors, the flakes within them give a beautiful multi-toned shimmer to the nails, and their tiny reflective particles almost make them shine. Using them on just one or two nails can beautifully enhance the traditional red color lovers and they can quickly create ombre design because the multi-dimensional glitter can be washed off in moments.
VIBRANT SPARKLE
The suger effect, sweater patterns are still very popular. For these, we recommend Flash glitter powders, sprinkling them into the pattern on top of the top gel for an extraordinary sparkle. If you're using them for built-in design or even a glitter ombre, feel free to mix them with clear gel and you're ready for an embedded sparkling design.
DECORATIONS MADE EASY AND FAST
In terms of decorations, slightly more restrained requests are expected this year, and Christmas-themed stamping plates come in very handy. With these, you can create snowflakes, Santa Claus, or little snowmen on the nails in moments. Christmas stickers are also a great solution for busy salon work in December. Additionally, glitter stamping gels will be excellent companions for a few lines or dots.
So, this year, it's more about cleaner but shinier nails than detailed patterns. Still, use your imagination and boldly combine techniques and materials to create truly unique and wonderfully beautiful creations.
