Color Rubber Base Gel - What we need to talk about
The beauty industry has been taken over by color rubber base gel, which is a flexible and elastic base gel for gel polish. However, this didn't happen recently but years ago when Perfect Nails Elastic Hard Gel burst onto the market, revolutionizing the previously known strong and less flexible builder gels.
These new types of brush-on builder gels, now known as rubber base gels, first appeared in a completely transparent version (Elastic hard gel) and quickly became a favorite in the market.
Subsequently, as a result of two-way development and market demands, two innovations emerged:
- Fiber gel, reinforced with fiberglass, resulting in stronger adhesion and more resistant nails.
- Colored variations, initially available only in light, nude, and milky white shades.
Now, the time has come for the Elastic and Fiber product lines to showcase an endless array of colors under the new, comprehensive name: Color Rubber Base Gel! So, let's introduce the more subdued pastel ice cream shades, enriched with dazzling sparkles, ranging from creamy white to pale pink and all the way to strawberry. And for those craving more vivid colors, there are true vibrant shades, from apricot blossom to neon pink, and all the way to raspberry.
HOW DO THEY ASSIST IN YOUR WORK?
The greatest advantage of Color Rubber Base Gels is their speed. They enable a simple, quick, and compact application process by combining the well-adhering base coat, strong and durable apex and two layers of color. All of this can be achieved in either one medium-thick layer or two thin to medium layers. There is no need to apply a separate base coat and cure it, create and cure a separate apex and then apply the chosen color in two coats... From now on, all of this can be achieved in a single bottle.
HOW TO USE IT?
1. Preparation: Push back the cuticles, remove any excess skin, shape the free edge, and gently buff the nail plate with a 180-grit file. Use Perfect Prep/Perfect Spray Prep for disinfection, dehydration, and degreasing.
2. Apply Color Rubber Base Gel in a medium-thick layer, being careful not to touch the skin. Create the apex and cure it for 1 minute in UV/LED lamp. *
3. Apply a flexible top gel (such as Cool Shine Ever Top Gel or Velvet Matt Top Extra) and cure it for 1 minute in UV/LED lamp.
*If desired, this step can be divided into two separate steps: apply a thin layer and cure it for 1 minute under a UV/LED lamp, then create apex with a medium-thick layer and cure it for 1 minute in UV/LED lamp.)
REMOVAL
Since we don't use any preparatory liquid (such as Perfect Acid-Free Primer) during the preparation phase that prevents adhesion, Color Rubber Base Gels can be easily removed using LacGel Remover or Acetone.
First, use a file, such as a 150-grit file, to break the shine on the nail surface. You can also thin out the product on the nail if desired. Then, apply a remover-soaked removal foil onto the nail and seal it. After approximately 10 minutes of exposure, gently push off the softened gel from the nail plate using an orangewood stick or cuticle pusher. Finally, remove any residue with a fine file/buffer.
The usage is incredibly simple and quick, and the colors are gorgeous. It's no question that Color Rubber Base product line is embarking on its conquering journey as a new favorite. Which one is your favorite?
