Witch's kitchen: How to create extra decorations by mixing existing materials?
During the Christmas season, even those clients who don't usually seek nail decorations often request them. Professionals appreciate this, but it's also the time when most clients come in a short period, and time management needs to be as efficient as possible.
Let's explore some tips to expedite our work, leaving the clients amazed, without necessarily acquiring new materials!
Shimmery materials are always popular, and since the trend of milky white nails, the witch's kitchen has been thriving. It's advisable to choose a slightly softer material for mixing, such as Milky White Soft Gel. Try mixing various-sized and shaped glitters, preferably transparent ones that only add light and sparkle to the material:
- Wonder flakes white – provides bluish-pinkish sparkle, larger irregular flakes
- Stardust Pixie powder Blue sky – adds a bluish sparkle, regular-sized glitter powder
- Unicorn chrome powder purple – gives a lilac shine, small-sized chrome powder
By adding a small amount to the gel, we can create an icy sparkle effect, and by sculpting or filling the nail, we practically decorated it in one step. Extremely beautiful effects in moments.
GLITTER GEL
Mixing Flash powders with a soft transparent gel (e.g., Cool protein clear gel) creates a perfect, dazzling and reflective gel. This gel can be used for a full nail, french tips or beautiful glitter ombre nails. If you want to paint glitter sections on the surface, it's beautiful but remember to use a top gel in this case.
SPARKLING TOP GEL
Even the simplest monochrome set can be enhanced with a bit of sparkle. If you don't have a specific topcoat, you can mix flakes (e.g., Chameleon flakes 1 Cryolite) and fine chrome powder (White chrome powder or Unicorn chrome powder) into Cool Shine Ever Top Gel. Applying this mixture in a single layer to the nail produces a wonderfully sparkling effect. Remember, only very fine-grained and thin materials are suitable for this.
CHROME-STYLE DECORATIONS
Stamping is essential when discussing quick decorations, especially during Christmas when gold-silver-bronze colors are always in demand. Stamping combines perfectly with chrome powders: cure the pattern created with stamping gel for a few seconds, then press and rub the chrome powder, and you'll achieve a beautiful metallic decoration in no time. It complements painted patterns perfectly and for a unique effect, try to cover it with a matte topcoat instead of a glossy one.
Perhaps the Christmas rush isn't so intimidating anymore; with a few small and creative tricks, we can outsmart the time constraints.
